The focus for pupils in S6 is both vocational skills and independent living skills. Our aim for their final year at school is to prepare them as much as possible to reach a positive destination once they leave school. Pupils will spend 3 days* in school, with 1 day at college and 1 day on work placement. On their days in school they will take part in activities that all involve functional and real life skills. Pupils will also get designated PSE and ICT periods. These skills are designed to prepare our young people to be independent and successful adults as they transition into life beyond school.
