At Carrongrange High School, each pupil is a member of one of 4 houses. Achievements, effort and hard work in classes, and the wider school, is recognised by awarding house points to pupils. At the end of each term, the winning house is announced and pupils in that house get the chance to attend a reward afternoon to recognise their hard work.

Each house has 2 House Captains and 1 Vice Captain who are chosen, by interview, from pupils in the Senior Phase.
