Fundamentally the Parent Council is there to represent Parents and Carers with the School management. We meet with the Head teacher and management team once every term. We meet at our AGM where official business can be addressed i.e. Office bearers selected, funding agreed but also the Parent Council and the Head Teacher share information that adds value to the School whenever the need or opportunity arises.

Over the last few years the Parent Council has been involved in –

The design and location of the New School which included meeting with local Council officials, parent groups, other interested parties and responding to Council by official means.

Organising fundraising and achieving the substantial amount for the new School Mini bus, in 2016.

Running an evening to premiere the Young Americans “movie” that our pupils starred in.

Included in the recent school inspection and subsequent improvement plans that were put together and reviews.
