What is PEF?

The Pupil Equity Fund (PEF) was launched by The Scottish Government to ensure that all children have the same opportunity to achieve their goals.

Like every other school in Scotland, Carrongrange High School has a plan in place to ensure we make the best and most effective use of the money allocated to us. Part of the plan is to allow parents and carers to apply directly to us for funding of clothing, learning resources, as well as contribution towards school trips etc. There is no limit to the number of applications you can make in a school year. All applications will be considered carefully and the greatest need will be given priority, particularly those pupils who receive Free School Meal Entitlement (FME) or Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA).
