During S4/5 pupils will have the opportunity to further develop their skills within both expressive and design work.

Where appropriate pupils will be presented for National 1, 2, 3 and 4 units.

The National 1 consists of three units pupils can work through:

Working with textiles,

Creating materials for display

Creating materials for a performance.

The National 2 course is made up of three units, one mandatory and two chosen by the pupil.

Mandatory Unit - Developing skills in creative arts,

Choice of three – Working with textiles,

                                Creating materials for display.

                                Creating materials for a performance.

The National 3 course is made up of two practical units, one design and one expressive. Pupils also have to do a small written response on one artist and designer.
